As RT2024 approaches, the Earthqualizer Foundation, in collaboration with Inovasi Digital and our implementation partner, Unilever, will be hosting a side event titled “From Suspension and Exclusion to Recovery and Re-Entry: Implementing the Next Stage of NDPE in the Palm Oil Sector.” This event will focus on advancing the NDPE Policy, guiding the palm oil sector from deforestation-related suspensions and exclusions to rehabilitation and re-entry through Earthqualizer’s (EQ) Recovery and Re-Entry protocol.
The event will provide an overview of the process, results, challenges, and opportunities of the Re-Entry Program. We will hear about Unilever’s Supplier Re-Entry Program, which is implemented in partnership with the Earthqualizer Foundation, and learn from the experiences of program participants. The session will explore the methods, processes, and experiences of the program to share key insights.
With growing interest in landscape-based approaches and NDPE re-entry and recovery efforts, this event will offer valuable implementation experience to the discussion. It may also provide inspiration for similar programs aimed at NDPE re-entry, landscape approaches, or other sustainability targets related to climate mitigation and forest protection goals.
