Southeast Asia Palm Oil Supply Chain Forum 2026

Scroll

The palm oil sector is facing a period of real change. Expectations around deforestation-free supply chains are rising, transparency is under greater scrutiny, and sustainability standards continue to evolve. Together, these shifts are changing how commodities are produced, traded, and assessed in the market.

At the same time, companies across the supply chain are operating in a more difficult environment. Climate-related production risks, global supply chain disruption, and tighter financial conditions are adding pressure across the board.

In that context, sustainability is no longer just a matter of compliance. It is increasingly tied to market access, supply chain resilience, and long-term competitiveness.

As the world’s largest palm oil-producing region, Southeast Asia has an important role in shaping how the sector responds. That response will depend on stronger engagement across growers, processors, traders, buyers, and financial institutions — not only to meet expectations, but to build practical pathways forward.

This is the space that the Sustainable Commodities & Responsible Engagement (SCORE) Forum 2026 is meant to create. Held under the theme “From Commitments to Market Access,” the forum will bring together stakeholders from across the value chain to discuss what more responsible, resilient, and market-ready palm oil supply chains should look like in practice.

What This Forum Will Address

Through panel discussions, workshops, and cross-sector dialogue, the forum will look at:

  • how traceability and transparency can be strengthened in response to market and regulatory demands
  • what practical approaches can help address historical sustainability challenges without excluding producers
  • how monitoring systems and digital tools can support risk management and better decision-making
  • what role financial institutions can play in supporting the transition
  • where stronger collaboration is needed across the supply chain to move transformation forward while maintaining competitiveness

Expected Outcomes

The forum is expected to contribute to:

  • new partnerships and collaboration across supply chain actors
  • more practical knowledge sharing on traceability, monitoring, and sustainability reporting
  • stronger industry dialogue in support of market access for responsible producers
  • closer engagement between producers, buyers, and financial institutions

Who Will Attend

Around 300 participants are expected to join the forum, including:

  • growers
  • processors and traders
  • FMCG companies
  • financial institutions

SCORE Forum 2026 will be held on 16–17 September 2026 in Sentul, Bogor, Indonesia. Over two days, the programme will include plenary sessions, panel discussions, technical workshops, an executive roundtable, networking sessions, and Industry Clinics offering practical consultation on NDPE performance, EUDR readiness, traceability systems, ESG reporting, and financing opportunities.

Be part of the conversation on where responsible palm oil supply chains go next in Southeast Asia.
Join the dialogue on how commitments can connect more clearly to implementation — and to market access.
