On October 3rd, 2024, at our Malaysian office, Inovasi Digital launched our monitoring dashboard platform, Geometrack, introducing and showcasing it for the first time to partners, particularly those focused on land clearing and deforestation monitoring program.
This phased introduction allows for a testing period to ensure the platform operates smoothly and to identify any potential issues that may have been missed. The workshop will consist of two key components: a material presentation and hands-on training for our partners. It will serve as a platform to introduce the Geometrack Dashboard for the first time and ensure that our partners are well-equipped to use it effectively.
Geometrack Dashboard, a deforestation monitoring tool developed by Inovasi Digital as part of its Supplier Group Monitoring Program, provides enhanced visibility into supply chain compliance, helping to identify deforestation or peatland clearing activities, with a cut-off date aligned with the 2015 NDPE Policy. By combining automated and manual screening methods, the dashboard minimizes the risk of undetected or misdetected deforestation. After a long development process, we are proud to announce that the platform is now ready for public use.
This innovative platform enables users to access and customize data views to suit their specific needs. During the event, partners were given a comprehensive walkthrough of the Geometrack dashboard interface and participated in hands-on training to explore its features, ensuring a thorough understanding of how the platform operates.
The dashboard will streamline the detection of non-compliance activities within users’ supply chains, including land clearing, legal violations, and social concerns. This newly established monitoring platform is expected to help companies uphold their commitments to building a sustainable commodity supply chain.
