Sustainable Commodities & Responsible Engagement (SCORE) Forum 2026

Scroll

The palm oil sector is entering a period of significant transition.

Expectations around deforestation-free supply chains are rising. Transparency is under greater scrutiny. Sustainability standards are becoming more demanding, while climate-related production risks, global supply chain disruption, and tighter financial conditions are placing additional pressure on companies across the sector.

These shifts are changing how palm oil is produced, traded, financed, and assessed in the market.

In this environment, sustainability is no longer only a compliance issue. It is increasingly connected to supply chain resilience, access to finance, long-term competitiveness, and the ability to maintain access to global markets.

As the world’s largest palm oil-producing region, Southeast Asia has a critical role in shaping how the industry responds. Progress will require more than individual commitments. It will depend on stronger coordination across growers, processors, traders, buyers, financial institutions, government, and sustainability partners.

This is the purpose of the Sustainable Commodities & Responsible Engagement (SCORE) Forum 2026.

Held under the theme “From Commitments to Market Access,” the Forum will bring together stakeholders from across the palm oil value chain to discuss how sustainability commitments can be translated into practical action, stronger supply chain systems, and more credible pathways to market readiness.

What the Forum Will Explore

Through high-level panels, technical workshops, cross-sector dialogue, and practical consultation, SCORE Forum 2026 will examine:

  • how traceability and transparency can be strengthened in response to evolving market and regulatory expectations;
  • how historical sustainability challenges can be addressed without unnecessarily excluding producers from responsible supply chains;
  • how monitoring systems, geospatial data, and digital tools can support risk management and better decision-making;
  • how financial institutions and investors can support the transition through more targeted and sustainability-linked financing;
  • how responsibility, cost, and action can be shared more effectively across the supply chain; and
  • what practical steps are needed to maintain competitiveness while strengthening responsible sourcing and market access.

Expected Outcomes

The Forum is designed to support:

  • new partnerships and cross-sector collaboration;
  • more practical knowledge sharing on traceability, monitoring, due diligence, and sustainability reporting;
  • stronger dialogue between producers, buyers, financial institutions, and policymakers;
  • clearer pathways for responsible producers to remain connected to global markets; and
  • actionable priorities that can support a more resilient and market-ready palm oil sector.

Who Will Attend

Around 200 participants are expected to join, including:

  • growers and plantation companies;
  • processors and traders;
  • global buyers and FMCG companies;
  • financial institutions and investors;
  • government representatives;
  • industry associations; and
  • sustainability and technical partners.
